Loving my Dumpling bag, which I got in the black nappa. It’s smaller than the bag I usually use, but still holds everything I need. This is my second bag from Charlie Middleton, and I’m now working out which one to get next. Great service from Ben and the team. I love that the bags are handcrafted in Australia. The bag was beautifully packaged and presented.

Just the right size for the necessities of life
I picked the mini tote but it is plenty roomy enough for my day-to-day work bag (lunch box, water bottle etc.) I could not love this bag more - especially the handy little clip inside for my keys or work pass. The leather is lovely and soft, and the colours are beautiful.
I will be back for another, more wintery colourway later this year!

Absolutely love this bag. I've been looking for a light coloured bag that can fit a laptop etc for work. It is super light weight. I love that the leather also folds in for when you have a smaller load.

Quality pouch, purchased to hold bits in my handbag but have clipped Juliette pouch to it (with wristlet strap) and have been running out the door without my handbag. Holds a lot. Leather is lovey, hardware substantial, zips easily. Love I can choose colours of both hardware and leather. Very happy.
This strap is a great addition to my Billie bag for that more casual look. Would I buy a bag from Charlie Middleton again? Yes definitely. Love it so much.
I have a bespoke tote, but my poor old shoulder was struggling with the weight of carting all my work junk back and forth each day, so I wanted a backpack. But not a disgusting nylon laptop backpack that looks hideous. I wanted a nice one that would last me for years. So I decided to splurge (just got a new job, so why not) and get a Charlie Middleton one made.
Firstly, I had a major stress about what size to get. I decided on the medium and just hoped it would fit my 13” Dell work laptop (she’s a chunky lady) as well as my own 13” MacBook. Maybe not both at once, but that wasn’t a need. Well, I was incredibly surprised to see it fits so much!
What I cart in this thing on the daily: laptop, headphones (big old Sony overear things), water bottle (600ml), personal fan (ladies of a certain age will understand), keys, wallet, phone, coin purse of necessities, and any other random crap that makes it into my bag.
And it doesn’t look stuffed! Honestly. I’m blown away. And it’s so easy to carry. Way better on my poor shoulder than the bespoke tote (although I will love that bag until I die). The leather is lovely and soft, but hard wearing, and the bag is beautiful!
This is my 2nd bag and I love it just as much as the first.
The thing about these bags is that they last for absolutely ages! I’ve had my first one for years and I use it every day…even when I’m traveling.
It really is the perfect bag…size, look, quality…everything.

Just what I was after; small card pouch to hold my 13 cards, some cash and pic of my kids. Leather is lovey, appreciate I can pick the hardware tone and love the pocket on the back. With the d ring on the side I can clip it with another pouch (using the wristlet strap) to grab and go or attach my keys. Well made, fast to post 10/10.
I love the Charlie Middleton Large Backpack in Taupe. The unlined interior keeps it lightweight and really highlights the beautiful texture—the leather feels amazing. The size is perfect for my laptop, lunch, and a warm jumper or cardigan. It is expensive, I added the extra pocket but absolutely worth the money,. The service was professional and smooth—I can’t fault my experience at all.
My second purchase! I love the bag with the silver hardware and name printed long strap. You can wear on the shoulder or as a cross body. So versatile. I added a scarf for decoration. The leather and stitching are such great quality!
Purchased while visiting the Sydney shop from Canada. Perfectly fits my laptop, lunch, water bottle and a few bits and bobs for work. I love it! I added a little Bondi print scarf accessory (also handmade in Syd) and think it goes perfectly. I got this and a black shoulder bag. Couldn’t recommend enough!
